Angela is a frequent speaker in the United States, Europe and Asia, having addressed the Baltic International Maritime Council (BIMCO), the world’s largest private shipping association, 39 Day – Centenary General Meeting in May 2005, after which she was unanimously voted to be BIMCO 39’s Counsellor, and the World Shipping (China) Summit in 2007. In 2005, she was selected as an “Eminent Young Overseas Chinese” by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council. The same year, The Journal of Commerce featured her in their special edition on Women in International Trade. In 2011, she was invited to be a Founding Member of the Wall Street Journal’s Task Force on Women in the Economy. The Organization of Chinese-Americans (OCA) awarded Angela with the Dynamic Achievement Award in 2013.
In 2015, Angela was the Keynote Speaker at Harvard Business School’s Asia Business Conference and also delivered speeches for Chiao-Tung University’s Alumni Association of America’s 11th Grand Alumni Reunion and 8th Alumni Business Leader Summit, Tsinghua University, and Peking University.
