Angela Chao was recently interviewed by SupChina —a New York-based news, information, and business services platform that reports on issues surrounding Chinese business, technology, politics, culture, and society. In the interview, Ms. Chao discussed how the COVID-19 pandemic impacted the international shipping and transportation industry as well as how Foremost Group responded to the ensuing disruptions and challenges. She also shared some more details about her life’s story, such as how she got interested in the shipping industry and the way in which her parents served as her mentors. In addition, she touched upon the charitable initiatives in which she is involved and the causes that bring her particular joy.
The interview comes in advance of Ms. Chao’s participation in a SupChina panel as part of the 2021 SupChina Women’s Conference, which will be held virtually on May 12.
