Foremost Celebrates 50 Years Since Founding the Company

China press video is on hand for the 50th anniversary celebration of the foremost group

On the evening of December 19th, Foremost Group, the New York-based international shipping company, gathered at the Harvard Club to celebrate its 50th anniversary. The ceremony was held in the presence of Foremost founder Dr. James S.C. Chao together, with his five daughters and their husbands. The event was hosted by Dr. Chao’s youngest daughter and Deputy Chair of Foremost Group, Angela Chao.
At dinner, Dr. Chao talked about his and his company’s past, and encouraged his listeners to aim towards entrepreneurship, vision and innovation. Angela Chao extended her appreciation to the guests for their continuing support of the company. Her older sister, The Honorable Elaine L. Chao, representing all of the sisters who were also present, talked about the strong ideals and values that the company represents.
Prior to the ceremony, Foremost Group signed a contract for the construction of a new bulk carrier.
