Foremost Celebrates 50 Years

Sinovision Journal covers the recent 50th anniversary celebration of Foremost Group, one of the world’s leading international shipping and transportation companies. On hand to celebrate were the Chao family, including Dr. James S.C. Chao, who with his late wife Ruth Mulan Chu Chao founded the Foremost Group. Joining them were employees of the company, friends, and long-time fans. Dr. Chao was born in China and immigrated to the US as one of the youngest Marine Captains in history. He was inducted into the International Maritime Hall of Fame at the United Nations in New York, and is the recipient of numerous awards, most notably the Horatio Alger Distinguished American award and Outstanding American by Choice award.
